All Campus Touch Rugby Tournament

If you were a high school athlete in ANY sport,
there’s a place for you on the rugby field.
EVEN IF YOU NEVER PLAYED,
you can learn from one of the best coaches in the world.
Blikkies Groenewald coached Russia in the World Cup, the current World Champion South Africa
Springboks, and Rugby Super League team Pretoria Blue Bulls. Now he is the Head Coach at OU. He
has written seven books on rugby and has coached over 30,000 rugby players in his forty year career
from kids to stars.
The University of Oklahoma Rugby Team will be holding an all campus Touch Rugby Tournament every Saturday through April 3rd. Come out alone or with a friend and we’ll get you onto a team. The tournament is at the Al Velie Rugby Football Complex located on the corner of G.T. Blankenship and Chautauqua Ave.

The team will compete D1A National Championship allowing for exposure to the US National and Olympic team coaches
OU Rugby is the oldest sports club on campus with a 47 year history of both international and domestic
tours. We have numerous conference championships, All-American and National Team members. Join the most exciting sport in the world and compete for the Sooners against other universities across the United States.
